STEP 1: Preparation. Spray an even layer of Gold Leaf paint over cone and 3" ball.
Using low temp glue gun, glue 3 inch ball securely to top of cone.
STEP 2: Apply bead string. Starting at bottom of cone, use glue gun to glue bead string around cone. Continue wrapping beads around cone, keeping rows as close as possible. Wrap and glue until the cone and ball are completely covered. Cut off remaining strand of beads.
STEP 3: Make head. Cover 2" ball with a thin, even layer of plaster or spackling compound. Lightly sand ball. Wipe off dust. Repeat for second layer. Spray with gold paint. Hot glue to top of 3" ball.
STEP 4: Make bows. Cut ribbon into two 24" pieces. Tie one in a large bow, keeping bow ends as short as possible. Cut off bow ends.
Tie second ribbon into a small bow, keeping ends of ribbon long. Hot glue small bow on top of large bow. Hot glue back of large bow to upper back of 3" ball.
STEP 5: Finish. Cut 5" from remaining bead string. For halo, use clear drying glue to attach in circle at top back of angel's head. Note: Do not use hot glue on halo, as it will show.
