Note: For product information, see end of article.

•  Print and cut out pattern for mittens and pattern for hat and cheeks.
•  Use a 1/4" seam allowance and sew with right sides together.
•  Allow glue to dry between steps.
•  See photo for details and placement.

STEP 1: Cut fleece pieces. For scarf, cut one 4 1/2" x 27" piece from teal stripe and two 3" x 27" pieces from pink stripe. Note: Piece fabric if needed. For hat, cut one 3 1/2" x 24" piece (band) and one 1/2" x 3" piece (tie) from teal stripe. Use template to cut one 8" circle from white. Cut circle in half.

STEP 2: Cut felt pieces. To prepare felt, rinse in warm water. Place in dryer with towel to dry. This will shrink felt and create a fuzzy effect. Use pattern to cut one mitten from pink felt. Use circle template to cut two 1" cheeks from pink felt. Cut one mitten from light pink felt. Cut two cuffs from white felt.

STEP 3: Sew snowman head. For eyes, sew two black buttons on right side of one head piece. Glue pompom nose and cheeks in place. Use backstitch and pink floss to sew curved mouth from one cheek to the other.

STEP 4: Sew hat. Sew head pieces together along curved edge. Fold band in half lengthwise and sew together along length. Turn right side out. Match center of head to center of band. Pin fold edge of band 1" up from bottom of head with approximately 2" of band ends extending beyond head. Topstitch band ¼" from fold. For fringe on ends of band, cut 1 1/2" slits ¼" apart.

STEP 5: Finish hat. Fold tie in half lengthwise and sew together along length. Turn right side out. Wrap tie tightly around extending bands and tie in a knot. Sew two large pink and one large teal button to right side of band.

STEP 6: Sew scarf. Press pink strips in half lengthwise with right sides out. Pin and sew a pink strip to each length of teal strip. Trim seams. For fringe, cut 2" slits 1/2" apart.

STEP 7: Finish scarf. Sew two small teal buttons to each mitten. Use small amount of glue to attach mittens to scarf, angling them slightly in opposite directions. Topstitch mittens 1/8" from outside edges with pink thread. Attach cuffs above mittens in same way using white thread.

LOL, the pattern is all there! The only printable thing in this is the mittens, I thought the same thing and was all bummed out until I read the whole pattern through and discovered that the rest of the pattern is given in measurements, like cut 8" circle for the top part of the hat and cut that circle in half. Now I'm going to make it! Awesomely cute!!
