STEP 1: Preparation. Use knife to cut 1" from larger rounded ends of craft foam eggs. Cut craft foam balls in half lengthwise.  Use palette knife to cover the smaller rounded ends egg parts and three of the half balls with the paper paste. Let dry on paper towel for 24 hours. Note: Drying time may be longer in higher humidity locations.

STEP 2: Make acorns. Use hot glue to attach egg parts to half balls. Paint egg parts with light brown paint and half ball parts with medium brown paint. Lightly brush dark gray paint across half ball parts, wiping away excess paint with paper towel. Let dry completely. Use wire cutters to cut three 2" pieces of brown-wrapped wire. Insert ends into tops of acorns.

STEP 3: Wrap package. Wrap craft foam sheet with brown paper as you would a gift package. Wrap ribbon around width of package, overlapping ends slightly. Cut extra ribbon. Insert a floral pin to hold ends in place. Wrap ribbon around length of package in same way. Embellish package with red ribbon secured with adhesive tape or floral pins.

STEP 4: Embellish package. Insert pine and cedar sprays vertically into center front of package. Use hot glue to secure. Hot glue eucalyptus stems between sprays. Cut 24" of ribbon and make a 4-loop bow with tails. Wrap center of bow with 6” length of brown-wrapped wire. Use floral pins and hot glue to secure bow to center of package on top of greenery sprays. Cut ribbon ends at a slant.

STEP 5: Finish. Hot glue acorns to evergreens on package as shown. Insert twigs through brown wire loops on tops of acorns and hot glue in place. Use hot glue to cover exposed stems or glue with pieces of green reindeer moss.
For hanger, cut 6" of brown-wrapped wire. Apply hot glue to ends and insert into top center on back of package.
